OLD MEADOWS COTTAGE GARDEN

This plot of land was a rubbish tip full of litter and dog mess. OMTRA took it over and planted 600 plugs of wild flowers, which looked beautiful during the first year. The City Council workers mowed it down by mistake and left it in such a mess it took two or three years to restart. This is now the OMTRA Cottage Garden. A lot of work is involved with not many people to do it.  We do our best and it seems to be flourishing now with new plants, bulbs and bushes.
