The Meadows Neighbourhood team have been extremely pro-active in the area. The trial for the murder of Anton Willis last November has started. There are additional patrols in the Meadows during the period of the trial, which is expected to last into the new year. The patrols will be a reassurance to the community as well as a visible deterrent in areas of concern. We have been working with Nottingham City Homes to secure an address on Bosworth Walk which was being used for criminal activity. We have also helped conduct a warrant on Phoenix Close, and will be working with NCH to try and get this tenant evicted following the recovery of a considerable amount of controlled drugs.
